The pants looked terrible in IPL 2025 as they scored just 269 runs for LSG and with a strike rate of 24.45 and 133.16 on an average of 118*. He last played T20I and ODI cricket against Sri Lanka in July-August 2024 for India. Rishabh Pant has been completely ignored for T20I, but KL in Odis remains as a back-up for Rahul.
