England batsman Joe Root finally reacted to David Warner’s ‘Surfboard’ Jib, and he promised exciting cricket on Australian soil in Ashes 2025–26.
Joe Route has been the center of attraction in Test cricket since 2021, as the batsman is invincible with some amazing performances.
However, Root’s performance against Australia has been below their standards, as the English dynamic batsman has yet to score a century against the country on their soil. They have 9 Tests Half-Santimeters, but there are no hundreds to return themselves.

Joe Route responds to David Warner’s Jib
Former Australian cricketer David Warner made a audacious comment about Joe Root. He said that the batsman’s performance in Australia is suspicious, and Josh Hazelwood would be a major threat to experienced. Warner said that if he wanted to do well in Australia, the root would need to “take off the surfboard from his front leg”.
Hazelwood has rejected the route several times in a record number, only behind Pat Cummins and Jasprit Bumrah. Root, who had recently commented on Warner’s comment, claimed that he was nothing more than stunts to sensationalize the series.
“Just. I can’t control how people watch the game or talk in the interview. Nothing is new, is it not?
Root quoted the BBC Sport as saying, “The thing that stands for me is that I wanted it to be too much in the past. It was important to me.
Joe Route opens on performance under its standards in Australia
However, the veteran entered Australia but not a great show as he scored 892 runs in 14 Tests at an average of around 36. Root said that he was focusing a lot and was working hard for the run instead of enjoying the game.
“This time I just want to go and enjoy the tour for whatever is.
Root exposed his immense experience in the format and re-recalled his recent new high as the second largest run-gate in the red ball format.
He said, “This is something that you remember. Going there with 150-odd test matches under my belt, I think it may not be more ready for it,” he said
Ben Stokes and England have not won a test on Australian soil since 2011
England will be the head of Australia in the hope of winning some exciting cricket as well as winning. He has a very bad record since winning a Test match on Australian soil in 2011.
The ash begins on 21 November, and a Ben Stokes-led England team, after the Anderson-Tendulkar Trophy is assured, will be expecting at least a few tests if the entire series is not there.
