A Revsports journalist suggested that everything was determined for the players, but the final Asia Cup 2025 squads could see changes in one final minute. He also claimed that Suryakumar Yadav is currently in Japan for a few days, and a final decision is expected to return.

India’s Asia Cup 2025 campaign to open against UAE
Meanwhile, India was placed in Group A along with Pakistan, Oman and UAE in the Asia Cup 2025. The Men in Blue will launch his campaign against the UAE on 9 September, followed by a high-voltage conflict with Pakistan on 13 September.
