Pakistan National cricket team star Babar Azam has made fun of himself, and the pressure to go through some patch was clear in his batting as he again failed badly in the final game of his team’s Caribbean Tour.
The former Pakistan captains are already passing poorly, but the way he is batting is just a bizarre and joke. In the third and final ODI, Babar Azam was rejected for nine runs off 23 balls against the West Indies at the Brian Lara Stadium in Taraba on August 12.
Babar Azam’s Form 3 OD vs. is new in West Indies
Jayden Seal Babur got trapped in front of the stump with a fast delivery. Babur went across the crease but remembered the ball completely, and hit him in front of his middle and leg. The on-field umpire excluded him directly, but Azam reviewed him, showing that it did not include any bat.

However, ball-tracking confirmed the original decision, in which the ball was clipped to leg stump. It was a close call, but for the naked eye, it was a proper LBW call. After the decision of the third umpire, Babur did not believe what he had done and started walking out of the field.

Babur Azam’s bad dream continues since 2023
The right -handed batsman finished an ODI series of three -match ODI series with only 56 runs and 62 with a strike rate of 62. Babur Azam has gone through 72 international innings without a century. His last hundred Asia Cup came against Nepal in 2023.
Since 2023, no other player went longer than the century than Babar Azam. Since 2024, the Pakistani batsman and his team partner Mohammad Rizwan are only two top level players with a strike rate below 80. Now, things have become difficult for Babur and Pakistan.
In Green, men suffered an embarrassing defeat of 202 runs in the third and final ODI, losing the bilateral ODI series for the first time in 34 years.
Babur’s ongoing bad form has raised many questions and has made fun of his performance for the last few years.

Meanwhile, after losing the T20I series, the West Indies bounced back into style to win the ODI series 2–1 against Pakistan at home. Among the judges of the series, Pakistan never looked under control, especially once the ball was bowled by Jayden Seal.
He tore him through the top order with four wickets in his initial spell and later returned to wrap things with two more wickets.
Earlier, West Indies captain Shai Hope scored 120* runs off 94 balls to help his team score 294 runs.
This proved to be very high for the total Pakistan, as they came out for just 92 runs within 30 overs. Salman Ali Aga was the top scorer for tourists with 30 runs, followed by Mohammad Nawaz (23*).
Mohammad Rizwan credited Shai Hope and Zeden Seal for Pakistan’s embarrassment
After a shameful defeat, Pakistan captain Mohammad Rizwan said, “In the last 10 overs, the speed has removed it, as we were at the top of the first 40 overs. We felt that 220 were familiar here.”
“Credit goes to them. Credit to Asha. Execution was good, but the edges went on his side. Hope batted well and played some good shots. Seal was bowling well. He harassed us through the series. We needed a partnership and needed to spend some time.”
