The return of Indian batting stallwart Shreyas Iyer on the T20I side has been stopped, as the top sources close to the BCCI show that its return to the Asia Cup 2025 shows that 2025 is very difficult.
India’s batsman Shreyas Iyer has been a full star in white-ball cricket and has shown commanding form in both formats for India and franchise teams. Iyer, who is now a regular in the ODI side, is not yet considered for T20 withdrawal.
Iyer was last seen playing for India in the 2025 ICC Champions Trophy, where he was the most run-run-gold for men in Blue with 243 runs in 5 innings. A significant 48 in the final with skipper inspired India for its third Champions Trophy title.
