Internal disturbance in Cricket Association of Bengal
The Cricket Association of Bengal currently undergoing internal disturbance as two senior board officials, Joint Secretary Debbrata Das and Treasurer Prabir Chakraborty, both have come under the scanner following allegations of financial irregularities and misuse of office powers.
Joint Secretary Debrata Das is a prominent person in the Bengal Cricket Circuit; However, now he has been issued a show-causal notice by the cab for preventing about 7 lakh revenue in revenue from the association.
He is also accused of maintaining money for the participation of East Bengal and Town Club tournaments. As a result of these allegations, the Cab has asked the DAS to clean all these dues within 15 days, while the issue has been addressed in the top council meeting, as well as the acceptance of funds in exchange for the selection of the team.
Cab official accused of conflict of interest
