The India National Cricket Team, led by Shubman Gill, hoped higher under pressure in all important fifth and final tests against England at the Oval. But some unexpected – and unfamiliar – Thursday, hovering in the toss on 31 July.
In fact, Shubman Gill pulled a classic blopter, which reminded the fans of former captain Rohit Sharma a few minutes before the victory game for India to level the five -match Test series against England. Announcing the playing XI, Gill said that India had made three changes.

Instead, Gill mentioned only Dhruv Juraral, Karun Nair, and Prasad Krishna as a replacement of injured wicketkeeper-son Rishabh Pant, all-rounder Shardul Thakur, which was demolished after a series of failures with the bat, and the Jasprit Bummer, which was restored to manage his work.
India made 4 changes, Shubman Gill mentions 3 in Oval
Shubman Gill said in the toss: “As long as we win the game, do not object to losing the toss. What to do yesterday was a little confused about it, it was a little more, but the wicket was good, we would see to post good runs in the first innings. The bowlers should have a good pitch for the bowlers. Close and it is about that 5-10% extra push, boys will be giving it.”
The toss watching fan Rohit Sharma cannot help compare with the famous memory slip and laugh and compare. Rohit’s obliteration has been famous among fans for a long time, from forgetting the decisions of the toss several times to leave the passport and iPad behind. And now, it seems that Gill has also raised this fun habit of Rohit after becoming a Test captain.

India’s toss curse continues under Shubman Gill
Meanwhile, Shubman Gill lost all five toss in the ongoing test series against England. In fact, it marks the 15th toss loss in a line for the Indian cricket team in forms. The ongoing Test match at the Oval also won the toss as Captain by England’s Oli Pope for the first time.
Losing all five toss in the five -match testing series has happened only 14 times in cricket history. The last time it took place in the 21st century when India visited England in 2018. Out of those 14 times, only once a team managed to win the series despite losing all the toss, and England won the 1953 Ashes series against Australia and performed that magic.
In particular, Chris Woakes of England and Mohammad Siraj of India are the only fast bowlers who are playing all five matches in the ongoing Anderson-Tendulkar Trophy.
