The Control Board for Cricket in India (BCCI) is expected to send its team to attend the upcoming Asia Cup 2025 despite the alleged border tension with Pakistan. According to a Times of India reporter, India is likely to play in eight-team tournaments, even with Pakistan’s participation.
The Asia Cup 2025 was in serious doubt due to India-Pakistan relations. However, the tournament is now likely to move forward, but an official confirmation is still waiting. Despite being a nominated host nation, India is expected to host the tournament in the United Arab Emirates (UAE).
Asia Cup 2025 schedule is likely to start on September 8
According to the Senior Assistant Editor of Times of India, Gaurav Gupta, the tournament is expected to be held in Dubai and Abu Dhabi from 8 to 28 September. Gupta revealed that the tournament will have eight teams.

Complete members will compete for the prestigious trophy with Afghanistan, Bangladesh, India, Pakistan and Sri Lanka, UAE, Oman, and Hong Kong, who qualify through the ACC Premier Cup.
