Henrich Klassen recently appeared in a special interview with Cricbuzz. Between many questions and ideas, he was asked about the current cricket calendar and his ideas on its development in the coming years.
The former South African wicket-keeper responded, showing that bilateral one-day matches are no longer needed in the international calendar. He has urged the teams to play more Test matches.

He also urged that each board should take care of its players so that they focus on international assignments and do not pursue the global T20 league for money.

Heinrich Klassen announced his retirement from international cricket as he decided to prioritize the T20 League. The 33 -year -old has decided to step down after playing the final international game against New Zealand in the semi -finals of the 2025 ICC Champions Trophy.
Henrich Klassen has played 7 years in international cricket, where he has played 4 Test matches, 60 ODIs and 58 T20I matches for South Africa. The batsman scored 2141 runs in Odis and 1000 runs in T20I and was part of the South Africa squad for the 2023 ICC World Cup, 2024 ICC T20 World Cup and 2025 ICC Champions Trophy.

Former South African wicket-keeper batsman Heinrich Klassen is currently playing in Major League 2025 for Seattle Orkas. He was the captain of the side before going down from the role of the mid-season, passing by Alexander Raza.
Seattle Orkas, which is part of MLC 2025, lost all five matches from the beginning. They were placed at the bottom of the points table, and therefore, such a decision had to be made.

South Africa’s explosive right -handed batsman has depicted several T20 leagues worldwide. Currently, he plays for Seattle Orchus at MLC, Sunrisers Hyderabad in IPL and Durban Super Giants in SA20 League.
The batsman has played three seasons at MLC for orkas and scored 423 runs in 22 matches with a highest score of 110*. He has also played in 49 IPL games and scored 1480 runs with a strike rate of 169.72.
Playing in the SA20, Klassen has scored 1008 runs for Durban Super Veterans in 33 matches. Coming to T20 Games, Heinrich Klassen, who continues to play in the Global League, has scored 5725 runs in 255 matches.
