Meanwhile, Temba Bavuma was excluded from the upcoming two-match test series against Zimbabwe as he recently continues to recover from a hamstring injury against Australia at Lord’s during the ICC World Test Championship (WTC).
Several senior players have also been rested, including Aiden Markram, Ryan Ryyan Ricelton, Cagiso Rabada, Marco Jensen and Lungi, so they have a large -scale inexperienced motion for a visit to Zimbabwe. Young left -handed pacer Quena Mafaka, who has played only one Test and has taken three wickets so far, he will get another chance to prove himself.
He would share new ball duty with Corbin Bosch and Vian Malder, both painted WTC final against Australia in 2025 at Lord’s. In particular, the Proteus Side crushed Australia by five wickets to lift the WTC title, ending their wait for nearly three decades for an ICC Trophy.
