Indian all-rounder Hardik Pandya put in a solid performance in the Vijay Hazare Trophy game against Vidarbha in the fifth round of the domestic tournament. The batsman scored his maiden List A century coming down the order and chased the milestone in some style.
Hardik Pandya made his comeback to international cricket after a month-long injury which ruled him out of the Australia tour. After playing all the matches of the T20 series against South Africa, Pandya has been asked to rest for the upcoming ODI series against New Zealand.
All-rounder Hardik Pandya has been asked to sit out for New Zealand as the selectors want him fresh for the T20 series and the T20 World Cup to be held after the New Zealand series. However, in the meantime Pandya has decided to play in the Vijay Hazare Trophy.

Hardik Pandya returns for Baroda in the Vijay Hazare Trophy. Pandya played for them in the Syed Mushtaq Ali Trophy and also contributed well for India in the wins against South Africa in the opening and final games of the series.
The comeback match of the experienced all-rounder has given him a tough test, as Baroda’s batsmen struggled to score runs at the top. Pandya came at number. 7 and batted continuously for his first List A century.
In the 39th over of the game, against Parth Rekhade, Hardik Pandya scored 34 runs with the help of five sixes and one four. Before the start of the over, Pandya was on 66 runs in just 62 balls and then he completed his first century in 68 balls.
